The 1st edition of Chicago International Indie Film Festival was hosted in 2021 at ShowPlace ICON Theatres at Roosevelt Collection in Illinois, Chicago. CIIFF 2021 received active participation by filmmakers and artists from Chicago and other states of the USA along with overseas artists who visited Illinois for the film festival. We received more than 400+ film entries from 60+ countries which included Feature films, Documentaries, Short films, and Animation movies. It was hosted in a hybrid format with both online and in-person events. The red-carpet event at ShowPlace ICON Theatres at Roosevelt Collection, Illinois in the city of Chicago, allowed the filmmakers and artists to interact with media for interviews, soundbites, photoshoot sections, and an opportunity for our audience to meet the artists face to face.
